Cosplay Photoshoot #8

I have been attending this event since #1 and my sister since #2, so it is with great joy that we always pack our stuff the night before and get ready for another edition of this event.

Why do we like this event so much? Well, because we always get to see tons of friends we have made all these years in cosplay events. There is always time to chat and take pictures with them without the pressure that we often feel in other indoors events.

This year with had (again !!) rain incoming... We were expecting rain during the entire day but, luckily, the weather was kind enough to provide us with enough time periods without any rain. This way, we were able to take our pictures and meet everyone and have a little chat.

Although we were expecting rain, we still decided to do our make up in the morning at home.

We arrived at Parque das Nações around 12:00H. The shopping was already full of people! We could already see so many cosplayers.. it was very nice =)

Since it wasn't raining at the moment, we decided to go and take our pictures for the Photo Contest of Cosplay Photoshoot #8.

We took several nice pictures:

 

Marta already used photoshop in these pics but only in light, contrast and some color :)

I think that this time we actually made a huge improvement in our photography skills, and most of all we tried to show what our characters are all about, not only the outfits, which are also amazing btw :3 

It felt more real to be in character while we were exploring ways and scenarios to take our pictures :)


And then we moved on to the most important part of the day: The Group Mega Photo =D

After this, we just hanged around for a while, taking pictures with other cosplayers and greeting friends.


In the end, we took some group pictures with our friends that came with us to the event.

OH! And in the end, we even got the chance to try out the new Nintendo 3DS! It was really cool!!

Overall, it was a great day =)
And i am sure we will, once again, be there next year, for Cosplay Photoshoot's next edition =)
